While Lou was introduced to us as a consultant through a wedding reception package, he was, by far, our favorite! Even though it’s been three and a half months since our wedding, we (including the mother-of-the-bride) are still talking about how wonderful he was! Superb!!
Although he was there to emcee and play music, he did much more than that! He was the “reception (“cruise”) director”, but in a non-intrusive way! Gathering our wedding party information and music selections weeks in advance, along with the “projected crowd flavor,” he tailored the evening to us—including a “surprise solo” from the bride–to the groom! His mantra for us was, “You’re the bride & groom—whose day is it? Your day! Whose day are we here to celebrate? YOUR day!” Because he wove the evening so that things flowed seamlessly, (from the introductions to the cake to the dancing), we, as the guests of honor, could relax and enjoy our guests during the much anticipated celebration! When there were preferences to consider, Lou would come check in with us, showing sensitivity and insight by offering options to choose from–and then honoring our wishes.
Having Lou for our D.J. absolutely made the reception!! Both professional and possessing a fantastic, fun personality (including terrific sense of humor), Lou is the only D.J. you should consider hosting your wedding celebration!

Amazing Sounds = Amazing DJ…….SERIOUSLY!
The music was our biggest concern in the planning of our wedding. With my husband being in the music business and my natural love for Rock-N-Roll we knew that all of our guest would be expecting the most from our DJ. From the moment my Husband and I met with Lou, we knew he was going to be the life of the party! As I look back on that day I can truly say that without Lou there things would not have gone very smoothly! He got us drinks, mingled with our guest, played the most awesome music, made everyone laugh when they wanted to cry and even managed to get 100 people on the dance floor and actually dancing! He was truly amazing and went above and beyond our expectations giving us the most memorable wedding one could ask for.

Our guests absolutely loved you and loved how you made the normal, boring flower and garter toss into a great event for everybody. Lou was the DJ at our wedding on June 5, 2010, and he proved himself to be a reliable, professional, and enjoyable asset to our special day. We were given Lou’s name by referral and he has got to be the best DJ there is in the area. Lou made the music decisions based on what type of feel we wanted at our wedding & reception rather than asking us for a list of music we wanted. He made the planning so effortless on our end! And on the day of the ceremony he made sure all of our needs were addressed and made sure the flow was seamless. He even updated us on the UGA score throughout the reception! Lou at Amazing Sounds & Entertainment is the most professional and incredible DJ we have ever met! We had the pleasure of working with him for our wedding, and he did not disappoint us. The entire evening he made sure that we were completely happy, and one of the best things about that night was how he enabled us to have a moment to ourselves but kept our guests entertained! When it came time for the reception and dancing, both of our families were out on the dance floor going crazy for HOURS. That is something that never happens! Lou was the designated DJ in a wedding package we purchased. After we connected on my favorite dance song, there was no denying this DJ has skills. We were so impressed by Lou, with his knowledge of songs and his lively personality, that we decided to hire him for our rehearsal dinner out on a party boat. Our guests loved him! He gave us the exact, yet, different party vibe we were looking for on both nights. He is perceptive and adaptive to any environment. We had not planned on an old school/new school challenge, but when it happened Lou was right there to engage our guests in the dance off. He even jumped in to dance himself!
I am a stickler about great customer service and getting the details right. Lou was so much more than a DJ. Whenever we needed anything, privacy, water or food, he was right there. He provided WORLD CLASS SERVICE! Lou will be the ONLY DJ we call or recommend for future events.
